the feline side of things

A walk through the canyon backwoods of Pasadena yesterday afternoon, wearing a sweater that I picked up at the most selectively curated thrift store I've ever encountered. I thought I ruined the knitting because I ignored the washing instructions and really put it through the ringer trying to get a persistent coffee stain out, but the swiss-cheese-like matrix of pinkie-sized holes isn't nearly as blatant as I thought. The distracting diamond pattern helps, I think. I wore it with a basic chambray shirt, some staple black skinny jeans, and Converse because, let's face it, sneakers just go with everything.
