A post-midterms post

Short absence=I had midterms this week. Studying occupied about 95% of my time the past six days, and I'm fairly certain my brain will never function fully again. In an attempt to save the few brain cells I have left, I'm planning on spending the weekend doing a myriad of stupidly useless things like cutting pictures out of my favorite magazines and seeing how many free apps I can download on my phone at once. I'm so excited I might die. And that's only a slight exaggeration.

As for the fashion-y aspects of life, I found the newest addition to my oversized purse arsenal on craigslist of all places in an inconspicuous ad for a flea market stand. After minimal bargaining (my haggling skills are negligible at best), I walked away this vintage leather shoulder bag, and I have to admit that I haven't been so smitten with an inanimate object for a long time. In addition to having a wonderfully functional front pocket, it's perfectly sturdy, just big enough to hold everything without dwarfing my hobbit-esque frame, and has a strap that doesn't seem like it's on the verge of snapping whenever I need to tote more than, like, my wallet. I've already begun to break it in.
