Crouching among the underbrush > walking on trails
(shirt and shoes: vintages, jeans: Urban Outfitters)
There is no denying that this is basically a glorified pajama shirt, with some sturdier buttons and distressed pocket detailing, which makes me a sell-out in a pathetically bad way. But once I alighted upon this shirt in a thrift shop I knew there was no way I could live without it...also, I really couldn't go to a non-vintage store to pick up something equivalent because the closest approximation would be...the upper half of a baby blue pajama set. And I'm not ready to be that obviously lazy, at least not yet. Still, my sanity is waning. Luckily this shirt has become my default for early morning coffee runs and after-dinner excursions when you mostly want to be comfortable but also not look like a complete slob, so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. Also I love the asymmetrical hemline, quasi-batwing sleeves, and gauzy fabric-perfect for leaping over brambles and hunching behind blackberry bushes. My life makes so much sense right now.
Just think of all the epic things that can be done in pajamas:
